The World Closing Their Doors, but…

It’s been an eye opening two weeks in the United States, to say the least. The buzz on every street is of a new America- some say for the better & many say for the worse. This politically charged atmosphere is something that we’re quite used to in India as well, but it’s 2017, and it’s sad to see the world closing its doors to a wide spectrum of opportunities.

Despite this, Denver has made us feel accepted & appreciated. The relaxed vibe, blended with an ecosystem of a thriving entrepreneurial culture inspires each morning, motivating us to set new goals and achieve them.

But the question remains- don’t we all feel handicapped sometimes, when political decisions affect our lives negatively? Whether an Indian citizen or not, have you ever filled a visa form, with the looming fear of rejection in your mind? However constricted one may feel, we at EASA are working hard everyday to play a vital role in opening up the world to international travel that is time-saving, easy & stress free.

… windows of opportunity at the Travelport Labs Accelerator

We’ve settled into our workspaces at the Travelport office in the heart of the Denver Tech Centre.

The program does an excellent job at organising a variety of interactions that are of vital to the very being of an entrepreneur. For example, this week, we had discussions with Ben Oelsner & Greg Garcia from KO, which gave us a lot to think about in terms of our IP, legal structures and safeguarding our rights as founders of our business.

But most importantly, we survived ‘Mentor Madness’, and it was fantastic! Mentor Madness is a 2 day-packed itinerary, with the aim of connecting the teams to experienced individuals who are passionate about helping start-ups reach their highest potential.

All in all, a great second week in Denver and we’d like to thank the team from Travelport Labs Accelerator - Nathan, Rich, Hannah & Brittany for being so efficient with everything.

It’s amazing how many encouraging mentors have offered their time to help us out. We know how busy you all are and we couldn’t be more grateful! Thank you!

Our software developers in Mumbai have been incredible with their work, so thanks Karlyle, Lavesh and your team at UnderOneRoof for holding fort for us.

Lastly, the program wouldn’t be half as good if it weren’t for the other teams: Hulah, TripHero & our fellow Indians from BookMySawari. If you’re planning a trip, look no further than the teams at Travelport Labs Accelerator this summer, and you’ll be surprised at just how easy travel can be!

Here’s to many more successful and happy weeks ahead!
